Once again, I gotta ask what the hell they're thinking when they schedule a Thursday night game forRead More Gold Package ticket holders. We get 3 freaking games and, inevitably, they seem to pick at least one each year that's impractical to go to. (BTW, thanks Sarah for posting this to the WFB Patch as well. Appreciate the local coverage).

These freaking night games for gold ticket holders puss me off. I hate getting home at 2:00 am andRead More then turning around and having to go to work.

Nuitari, Lisbon became a Town in the 1800's at one time Menomonee Falls Brookfield and Pewaukee wereRead More a part of Lisbon. Lisbon has kept the rural atmosphere. If we would be come part of Sussex our taxes would rise! Butler just celebrated 100 years much older than Menomonee Falls and also a small village where everyone knows you! I also attended Hamilton and refer to the school teams as the Hamilton Chargers.

Actually Menomonee Falls is 121 years old and 33 square miles of paradise if you ask me. I believeRead More you're right about a large part of it being part from Lisbon, perhaps as early as the 50s.

I went to MFHS for 4 years and never once did I call Sussex Hamilton just Hamilton. I always calledRead More it sussex. If someone told me we were playing Hamilton I always assumed we were playing Milwaukee Hamilton. If someone told me we were playing Sussex on friday I knew exactly what they were talking about. You never hear anyone refer to it as Hamilton. Everyone I know calls it Sussex...even my friends that go there call it Sussex.

Since Patch went to the "Moon" it has been too complex for the Seniors to be involved.
Sarah Worthman August 8, 2013 at 02:33 pm
Hi, Dick - if you, or someone you know, wants to contribute but needs a hand, I'd be happy to meetRead More personally. Just let me know :) sarah.worthman@patch.com

But the team still sucks so the $10 dollar voucher wouldn't do much to get me to a game.
Mark Morrill August 5, 2013 at 11:17 pm
Were done for the year. The smile Braun had when he took a picture we paid $25 for it irritates meRead More knowing he was lying to us fans... Its usually cheaper getting tickets not from the Brewers. So the voucher wont get us in anyways.... Go Gomez!

Baseball and its Player Union are late to the dance in correcting the PED / Steroid scandals. SomeRead More Players want to get beyond this forever dragging story. But reality is the testing will always be behind the new drugs. The drugs now get through a players system pretty fast. The cat is out of the bag and as track and field , cycling and practically all sports reveal time and time again = Players will take the any edge to win the rewards of dominating or highly improved performance. I don't see that changing anytime soon.

If Lacy can pound the ball down their throats I could care less how fat somebody thinks he is, weRead More have needed a beast like him for a long time. Now the defense won't know if we are going to run or pass on 3rd & 2.

Jim: After Bulaga's injury, I think they will use Lacy and even Franklin more, because youngerRead More linemen generally will have more early success run blocking. Glad to have Lacy; I got so sick of John Kuhn up the middle for no gain on 3rd and 1.
