In a time where there are more suicides, murder and people getting killed each day young people. IRead More wonder why Mr. keller would chose to talk about this as a topic?

"The event will be held at the Pauline Haass Library" How ironic. Isn't there a scandalRead More involving Haass's donated land?
Nuitari (Grand Master Editor) March 16, 2013 at 07:35 pm
Love how a private donation can eventually turn into a government quarrel.

I got to know Pauline, as she was one of my wonderful patients, such a kind and generous lady. HerRead More estate was left to support "a" library, wheather it be Sussex or Lisbon I don't think she would have minded. Since they started using funds for Sussex in the late 80's, the money should stay there. The library in Sussex is a great location for all residents to use. I don't see that it is necessary to build another Library in Lisbon. Reading atricles like this confirms that I will never leave any of my money for a government building. She left her money to HELP people, not to fight over. God Bless her!

I read the book, and it was EXTREMELY predictable. It was easy to read, but stupid. I hope the movieRead More isn't really as bad as you say :(

Well, it pretty much is, but I guess if the right filmmakers are there it doesn't have to be. ForRead More example, I liked the movie "The Notebook," but when I read the book, I really wanted to punch Noah and Allie in the face.

Sussex did have a quality restaurant, seigos. Which was empty on most nights except friday. What aRead More shame.

Like Rumor's better for freshly made burgers. I went to Maroni's once and there were these bugs onRead More the ceiling that were flying all over. Never again! That was only about 2 months ago when I had a coupon from WMYX. Boy do I miss old Arthur K's on Main. That was fine dining.

Tonys Pizza is the Best Pizza plus the Garlic Bread is great. Rate #1 Boneyard is great also clean,Read More good service, food has been fine each time we were there, 6 times in 12 months. Rate #2

Really Steve, the "low informed"? How about before you click on an article where youRead More clearly don't care about the subject matter, only so you can put in some snide remark where you denigrate those that enjoy some rather harmless piece of fluffy entertainment, you make sure you don't make yourself sound stupid by getting a common phrase completely wrong? And FYI, I have a Masters degree in Tax, I work hard, I watch the news and formulate my opinions based on facts, I read, I converse constructively on many different topics, and yet, I enjoy watching the Oscars, because I love movies and this is about movies. Do I fit your definition of "low informed", Mr. "I have Wisconsin with an American flag so I'm somehow smarter and more patriotic than everyone else"?
CowDung February 21, 2013 at 09:37 pm
Being 'low informed' is different than being 'low educated'.

Thank you Mike! I totally agree. I am in management at a major area bank and I too am lookingRead More forward to the oscars. I think it's great that there is a Wauwatosa tie and am hoping 'Beasts' wins an award. The tiny budget film is competing against others with huge budgets and major actors. You don't have to be in the movie business to enjoy watching these awards. I don't consider myself low informed OR low educated.

Killer Joe. Great cast: Matthew McConaughey; Emile Hirsch; Thomas Haden Church; and Gina Gershon.Read More Enjoyed this movie after watching it on a whim. I'm glad McConaughey takes on risky roles. Drumstick, anyone? I'd add "Flight" to my 2012 favs as well. Denzel really shows depth as the main character sentenced to a moral dilemma.
A Reel Of One's Own February 19, 2013 at 11:49 pm
Yeah, that was another major movie that I'm afraid I missed. From what I've heard it would've beenRead More on my list.
