Candidate Questions

Why are you running for this office?

I consider running for County Supervisor as an opportunity to give back to the community in which I am a resident and business owner. I believe we need county supervisor representation from individuals who bring the perspective and experience of the average resident in the district, as opposed to someone who is looking for a political career.

What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?

Fiscal responsibility. That means being vigilant as a caretaker of the taxpayer's dollars. I believe we need to apply the same financial prudence we exercise in our private lives and businesses -- wants vs. needs, cost-benefit analysis, value for each dollar spent -- to all County programs, services and expenditures. It's through these measures that we can achieve the lowest taxes possible.

What is the biggest issue in this race and how will you address it, if elected?

Again, it's the fiscal health of our local communities, the county and the state. In the end, all these entities impact one another. As a county supervisor, I have been supportive of Governor Walker's initiatives to correct Wisconsin's fiscal mess, and I will continue to make economic decisions that achieve strength and stability for  the residents in my district.

What sets you apart from the other candidate?

I am not a career politician nor do I have any political ambitions; I am a resident and business owner of Menomonee Falls serving my Waukesha County community. As such, I can make decisions that are true to my conservative values and to the values of the residents I represent in the district. I care not about appeasing anyone in the Waukesha County political structure to maintain my "political" status as a county supervisor. Unlike my opposition, being a county supervisor is not my full-time occupation.
