Candidate Questions

Why are you running for this office?

I have a life long interest in education, and the future of our children.  With my experience teaching at an adult literacy center and a graduate school of business, and my work as a civil engineer, I understand the importance of getting a good education and the challenges faced in getting it.  I want to apply these perspectives and skills to work for the success of the students and district.

What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?

I think the single most important priorty will be to provide the incentives and resources to teachers so that they can provide the highest quality education for the students.

What is the biggest issue in this race and how will you address it, if elected?

I think the biggest issue facing the District is achieving an overall high quality of education in the midst of the continuing political controversy and budget cuts, and achieving this in a manner that provides the greatest value for the taxpayers.  Addressing this issue would include a focus on providing an environment that attracts the best teachers for all disciplines, and maintaining effective AP and Tech Ed programs.

How do you feel about Act 10 and how it affects Hamilton School District?

I think Act 10 provides more options for innovative and financially disciplined management of education at the local level, and in the long run that is a good development for everyone involved. I will work within the context of Act 10 to help ensure that a high quality education is economically sustainable well into the future.

What sets you apart from the other candidate?

I think my education, work and teaching experience sets me apart.

You are a disgrace to this school district. How dare you bring Hamilton negative press. You should be ashamed of your childish behavior.

Brian didn't bring disgrace to the district - Lynn Kristense(n) did that all on her own!

No, Brian did this by pushing Halcomb to bring this to the public and then lie about it. He broke a law. Does no one else realize this? If he would've never brought this lie to Belling, no one would have heard about it. You're all giving Sussex a horrible name right now. Anyone want to talk about the issues or her proven track record? Does anyone else even know that Brian Schneider has gone to maybe ONE school board meeting in his ENTIRE LIFE?

That's right, Kristensen or is it Kristense(n) is the disgrace. To say you did not sign the recall and then reverse yourself after being discovered tells me that she cannot be trusted in any public position

If you believe Brian Schneider is not behind all of this, you don't know a lot of government in general at all. Bravo.

And, if you really want to get into integrity and honesty and all that, wanna talk about the John Doe investigation? About how Walker is involved in all of that? Honest and integrity- something he obviously doesn't have.

Forgot to add this- she never lied. Read this story if you want the full truth about "The Huge Lie."

Hey Mark
Why are you such a big Liberal Moron
She is the big lie. She printed her name exactly the same way on Alberte Darling recall petition.

A school board member who signed the Scott Walker Recall obviously is not looking out for the taxpayer. She won't get my vote!

If after listening to the phone calls posted above and reviewing the Scott Walker and Alberta Darling recall petitions, you still believe that Lynn Kristensen didn't lie or intentionally signed her name incorrectly...nothing anyone says will ever convince you. Fortunately, the people who have a problem with dishonesty and fraud will have the ability to make our voices heard at the polls. This is really unfortunate for everyone.
