Willow Springs Learning Center
Willow Springs Learning Center has not functioned as a traditional elementary school since the 1998-99 academic year. Starting in fall of 1999, the district's optional half-day kindergarten program has claimed Willow Springs as its home. The first school on this site was built in 1844. The current building's core was constructed in 1926 with additions during the baby boom years in 1956, 1959 and 1964. Declining enrollment brought closure of the facility for 10 years with reopening in 1991. Willow Springs also offers a private day care provider with operating hours from 6:30am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.
