Sussex Lisbon Area Historical Society
262-820-9164
The Sussex Lisbon Area Historical Society is dedicated to the preservation of the history of the villages of Sussex and Lisbon. Historian Fred Keller donated his work of more than 50 years to the village, which used Keller's work to open the historical society. It officially sent out its first newsletter in October 2001, and has been in operation ever since. The society offers memberships for individuals, both yearly and lifetime. The site of the society is located in the downtown of Sussex on Main Street, behind the little church which is now Sussex Country Floral. Tours can be arranged by phone.
