Named in honor of Alexander Hamilton, this high-achieving public high school graduated its first class in 1965. Prior to the institution's creation, area students attended Pewaukee, Hartland-Arrowhead, Germantown, Menomonee Falls, Brookfield, Wauwatosa or Waukesha high schools. For three of every five days, classes meet for 90-minutes. For two of every five days, classes meet 75-minutes with one hour devoted to resources and counseling that replace the traditional study hall.
