Sussex Lions Club Deems Summer Events Great Successes
Group announces winners of raffle held at Lions Daze in July.
The Sussex Lions Club has deemed this summer a success in terms of its fundraising efforts.
The group, which raises funds for various local, national and international charities, host Lions Daze in July and its annual Piston and Rod show in August, events that received large attendance.
"Thanks to the community for supporting these events," the Lions Club said in a note to Patch.

According to Lions officials, official fundraising amounts from the two events have not been finalized.
The Lions also announced Chuck Vojtas as winner of the $5,000 grand prize in the Lions Daze raffle. Scott Huibregtse ($1,000), Gary Gorski ($500), Geri Dupre ($500) and Tiffany Wegner ($500) also won substantial prizes.
