Lions Daze Adds Bags Tournament to Summer Celebration

One of the most popular backyard pastimes is coming to Sussex Lions Daze in July. 

Sussex Lions Daze kicks off July 12-14 at Sussex Village Park, and two bags tournaments are the newest additions to the three-day lineup. The first annual bags tournaments will be held on starting at noon July 13 and July 14.

Two-person teams can enter the competition for a $20 fee. There's also healthy cash prizes for the top three finishers. The winnings break down as follows: 

  • 1st Place: $192
  • 2nd Place: $96
  • 3rd Place: $32 
Teams can enter for a spot in one or both tournaments, which will follow a double elimination format. Read the full set of rules online. Teams can pre-register by contacting Nick Miller at (262) 349-2626 or by email. Pairs can also register on the day of the tournament starting at 11 a.m.
