Chargers Tennis Team Wins Title in Madison
The team also took home the United States Tennis Association Sportsmanship award.
The Sussex Chargers varsity tennis team won top honors at the United States Summer League State Championship in Madison July 27.
The team competed against 10 others from around the state title in the 18 and under non-progressive division, the Sussex Sun reports. The team defeated Manitowoc in the championship match. The team also won the team Sportsmanship Award from the USTA Tournament Directors.
