Joey's Seafood and Grill - Brookfield, WI

Joey's Seafood and Grill, a great seafood place not too far and MUCH cheaper than other seafood restaurants in Milwaukee.

When we first moved to Wisconsin, we rented a townhouse in Brookfield, and Joey's Seafood and Grill became a favorite of ours from the first time we ate there.

I am not a big fan of chains as some may be good and others not so much, so it really is a hit or miss. But this place is our to-go place whenever we want to eat seafood.

We always start with their fried calamari, which in my mind is the very best place in the Milwaukee area for it. The batter is very light, not greasy at all, and they have a little spice to them, yet not so overwhelming that it takes the taste of the squid away. 

In terms of their main dishes, we have tried many of them and usually go with whatever the special of the day is. Here are some of the dishes we have tried and really liked:
