Templeton Student Qualifies for State Geographic Bee Competition
Eighth-grader Taylor Beimborn will take on 99 other Wisconsin students March 30 in Madison in order to try and win a trip to Washington, D.C. in May for the national championship.
Templeton Middle School eighth-grader Taylor Beimborn qualified for the Wisconsin State Geographic Bee based on the results of his written test.
The bee, which will be held March 30 in Madison will feature the top 100 scoring students in the state. State champions who advance to the National Geographic Bee competition will receive an all-expenses paid trip to Washington, D.C.
The national finals will take place May 24.
