Templeton Bulldogs Football Teams Go 2-2 Last Week

Week highlighted by the eighth-grade White team beating Menomonee Falls Silver team 20-12.

The Templeton Bulldogs football squad went 2-2 in action last week. Below are the results of the hard-fought games. 

7 Blue

The 7th grade blue team traveled to Menomonee Falls on Saturday. The Bulldogs got off to a fast start, but came up short 27-14. Tyler Wroblewski scored on a four yard run and Adam Hartung scored on a 55 yard run. Vaughn Stumpf added the extra point. The defense was led by Luke Desorcy, Jacob Fralick, Colin Larson, and Chris Lawerence.The Bulldogs will travel to Kettle Moraine Saturday. 

8 Blue

It was a hard fought game between the TMS Blue and their cross town rival Menomonee Falls. A late effort by the Bulldogs came up short, as they fell 8-6 to the Junior Indians. On Defense the Bulldogs made a few adjustments during the game to stymie the Falls wildcat attack. Leading tacklers were Ryan Hubbel with 6 Geno Giovianni with 5 and Jordan Neumann with 4. Cornerback Joe Sennott had an interception for the Bulldogs. Ezra Heinritz’s touchdown was the only score for the offense. Jake Kessenich led the attack with 20 yards rushing. Quarterback Ryan Hubbel connected 8 times with five different receivers and ended up with 70 yards through the air.

7 White

On Saturday the 7th Grade White Bulldogs took the field with arch rival Menomonee Falls for their home opener.  The Bulldogs were crowd pleasers as they won their first game of the season, defeating the Jr Indians 8-6.  Wil Geels scored a touchdown in the second quarter after great blocking from Ryan Filo, Zach Brewer, Matt Minkey, Derek Moore, and Ben Doering.  Ty Olejnik added the two point conversion.  Also making a key 4th down catch was Austin Goodreau. Defensively the charge was led by James William, Justin Tremmel, and Connor Paris.  The Bulldogs look to keep the momentum going next week against Waukesha North.

8 White

The Bulldogs were victorious over Menomonee Falls Silver with a 20-12 score and brought their record to 2-1.  The Bulldogs pounded the ball on offense with 249 total yards with 217 yards on the ground.  Offensively, the Dogs were lead by John Rybka (7 carries for 55 yards), Dylan Klemstein (6 carries for 39 yards and 2 TD's) and Cooper Vance (7 carries for 35 yards and a TD).  Joey Bolda made a crucial 32 yard pass to Colton Hilgart in the 4th quarter for a big first down.  Defensively, the Dogs were led by Cole Roepke with 4 solo tackles and Ben Evans had an interception in the first half.  On Special Teams, the Dogs were lead by JD Augustine with an average of 15 yards on kick offs.  The Bulldogs next game will be at home against Waukesha North at 9:00AM.  Come and support your Bulldogs.
