Art has been a part of my life since before I can remember, and I can’t imagine myself without it. As a child, I remember my mother having an entire wall dedicated to my crayon drawings. Every drawing I ever did was hung there, from family portraits to school projects to designs of fantastic and fairytale-like creatures.
That wall followed me throughout my childhood, reminding me of my constant improvement and development as an artist.

Art is an endless journey to me, one that I am looking forward to!
There are always ways to improve and mature at your talents. Because art is a constant process to me and not just a passing hobby, the path I take after high school will no doubt involve art in some way.
I have grown far too attached to this form of expression to do anything otherwise. My objective is to pursue a career involving animation or illustration after college.
Descriptions of my Artwork:
Concentrations: A part of my portfolio involves a series of paintings that relate to and solve a solution I make up. For my concentration, I am telling the story of the main character (the boy) and his imaginary friend, the dragon. My concentration involves two different ‘realms’ that the two reside in - fantasy and reality - separated by a window or portal.
Breadths: Assignments that our instructor assigns us, usually in class.
