PHOTOS: Beauty and the Beast Opens Thursday at Hamilton

The classic Disney fairy tale will be performed at the Hamilton Fine Arts Center four days.

The students in 's Drama Department have been working tirelessly since January, and with opening night on Thursday, final rehearsals have finally begun.

The Disney classic "" will run at the  at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

While watching the young thespians do a full run-though of the musical on Monday evening, director and Hamilton's drama advisor Erin Brigham said she's excited for the performance.

"We've been selling a ton of tickets so far," Brigham said. "I'm almost worried about having to turn people away."

Monica Weis, the show's publicity specialist and mother of Zachary Weis - the student playing Beast - said this is the first time a show at Hamilton has sold advanced tickets.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens, and $3 for children under age four. For advance ticket purchases and additional information, please call the Drama Department Box Office at (262) 246-6471 x1552.
