Hamilton Says Aloha to Homecoming

Week of events will be capped off with a football game Friday and dance Saturday.

Students at Hamilton Hamilton High School are showing their school spirit Hawaiian style this week as the school celebrates homecoming.

Homecoming week has a Hawaiian theme this year that lasts six days and has included sleeping bag races, a hula hoop contest and marshmallow drop so far.

“This is an exciting week for us at Hamilton High School,” Hamilton Principal Candis Mongan. “Students are involved in theme days, lunch competitions by grade level, powder puff, a bon fire and fireworks, as well as the traditional pep rally, varsity football game and dance. This is an especially special year as it marks the building’s 50th homecoming. Building tours will take place Friday, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.”
