Friendship Grows Across the Atlantic
Exchange students from Germany just visited Sussex, and Hamilton High School students will visit them in Germany during the summer.
Know a great kid who made Eagle Scout or did your local soccer team take the championship? They may be our next Patch Whiz Kid honoree.
Each week, Patch will seek suggestions from readers for individual kids, youth groups, teens, and even sports teams that wow us with their accomplishments.
We want to hear about these amazing children and teens, and select one each week as the Patch Whiz Kid. Submit your nomination in our comment box below or e-mail the information to Editor Mark Maley.

Accomplishments: Twenty-two German students learned more about American culture through their visit to Hamilton High School.
“The German participants are absolutely thrilled about all the new experiences they have had at Hamilton and with their host families,” Wennmacher said.
Before their returned to Germany on May 5, the Leibniz students also were welcomed to Maple Avenue Elementary School, where they presented “Lessons on Germany."
Key to Awesomeness: The GAPP exchange opportunity was initiated in 2000, and has since become a strong bond of friendship between Leibniz and Hamilton students, and their families and staff on both sides of the Atlantic.
Twenty Hamilton students will travel to Germany this summer. While in Germany, Hamilton students will attend classes at the Leibniz-Gymnasium and visit places of historical and cultural interest.
