Back to School: Sussex Vacation Days, School Hours and More
From Hamilton School District's vacation days and breaks to each school's hours, here's a list of some important info you'll need for Back to School.
School Hours
Elementary school students in grades 1-5 and full-day kindergarten begin school at 8:35 a.m. and end at 3:25 p.m.
hours are 7:25 a.m. to 2:35 p.m.;
runs from 7:20 a.m. to 2:25 p.m.

School Vacation Days
Students will not have classes:
- Break - Oct. 26
- Parent-teacher conferences – Nov. 21
- Thanksgiving break - Nov. 22-23
- Winter break - Dec. 24-Jan. 1
- Staff in-services - Jan. 18, Feb. 28 and March 1
- Spring break – March 29-April 5
- Break – May 24
- Memorial Day - May 27
The Last Day of School
The last day of school is June 11.
