Village Budget Hearing Thursday
Residents, village trustees will get their first look at the 2012 budget.
The Sussex Village Board will hold its first budget workshop at 6 p.m. Thursday, at the , N63W24335 Main St.
Village administrators will officially introduce the 2012 budget at the workshop and residents will have the opportunity to address their concerns with the plans put forth for the next fiscal year.
No action will be taken at the meeting, but the Village Board will discuss the document in the coming weeks in order to approve it by the end of November. The budget proposal will be the first for the village under the new rules for state aid and tax collection under the 2011-13 biennial budget.
