Town of Lisbon Accepting Supervisor Seat Applications

Seat vacated in August open to Lisbon residents only.

The Town of Lisbon Board announced Tuesday it is accepting applications to fill a supervisor seat vacated in August. 

State law allows the board to fill the seat through a special election or through appointment. The board opted for an appointment because of "cost concerns and the desire to fill the position sooner." 

“We are looking for an individual who is dedicated and truly committed to the Town of Lisbon and its property taxpayers," Town Chairman Matt Gehrke said.

The seat was vacated by Dan Fischer, who resigned because of family health issues.   

Those interested in the seat must send a cover letter explaining why they would like to serve and their resume to the town by Nov. 20. They can send it to jmusche@townoflisbonwi.com or through the mail to:
