Parks and Recreation Board Meeting

The village's parks and recreation board will meet on Monday to discuss and possibly take action on the 2013 Park and Recreation budget for the 2013 year. The board will also review the Aug. 2012 park scorecard report and discuss and take possible action on the 2013 park upgrades. The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Sussex Community Center.

The Village Board will meet on Tuesday to discuss a number of items including contracts for the Lake Country United soccer club and an employee participation policy for fitness and wellness programs. The board, which will meet at 7 p.m. at the Village Hall, will also get a report from the CDA and the library board.

Village leaders will be in attendance on Thursday to discuss the upcoming 2013 budget during a budget workshop meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday. The meeting will be held at Village Hall. It is part of an ongoing series of meetings to discuss and develop the 2013 village budget. Village residents are welcome to attend.
