Public Hearing on Downtown Plan Set for July 26
It's your turn come out and give input on design of the Main Street area.
Sussex residents are invited to come out and provide their input to the downtown development plan at a public hearing being held at 7 p.m. July 26 at , N64W23760 Main St.
The plan, which has been in the works for months, entails the scope and size of planned redevelopment of the downtown area on Main Street, stretching from Waukesha Avenue to the area between Sliver Spring Drive and Maple Avenue.
The plan is meant to shape the downtown area for generations and help spur development in the area, such as the proposed Cannery Crossings project, otherwise known as Mammoth Springs.

In conjuction with the downtown plan, village leaders are also exploring the implementation of a district in the downtown area to pay for developments, along with plans for a in order to complete the project at the same time as the other downtown developments.
All members of the community are welcome to attend the meeting and provide input.
