Amy Flaherty, director of recreational services, said she is excited to bring the new position on board to help expand the senior program.

In regards to the Village Park master plan, Flaherty said she is anxious for the proposal to begin, which will help the recreation department expand to accommodate more groups and activities.

In general, Flaherty hopes to increase interactions within the community.

“We are always looking for new ways to increase our online interactions and to expand our communication to get information out to the community,” Flaherty said.
