2013 Futures Award Goes to Sussex Assistant Administrator

Her peers in Wisconsin recognized Melissa Weiss' skill and potential.

Melissa Weiss wears more hats than a hat rack for the Village of Sussex, and her skill in managing it all is getting her noticed.

Weiss, the assistant village administrator, has been given the 2013 Futures Award by the Wisconsin City/County Management Association and the Wisconsin Association of Municipal and County Managers.

It’s a long-winded way of saying Weiss’ peers think she’s great despite having less than five years of management service.
