On Jan. 26, police were called to Industrial Controls Company after supervisors there discovered a certified letter to Culotta containing a $50 traveler’s check from Carter Supply Company. Although Culotta, who worked in the shipping and receiving department, was not authorized to set up an account with Carter, company officials found she had purchased hundreds of rolls of packing tape over several months and had received other gifts for doing so.
Culotta told police she got a boom box and alarm clock for making the purchases, along with two other $50 traveler’s checks, which she used to buy treats for the company and groceries for herself.
