Teen Charged For Stealing From Kohl's
Sussex girl, 17, is caught stealing mascara and a necklace with two accomplices.
A Sussex teenager is facing charges after she was caught trying to steal mascara and a necklace from Kohl’s.
Brianna E. Biswell, 17, was charged in Wednesday with one count of retail theft. If convicted, she faces up to nine months in prison and $10,000 in fines.

On July 20, police were called to the store after a security officer at Kohl’s spotted Biswell and two other girls take mascara and necklaces from a counter then go into a change room together. The girls walked out of the room shortly afterwards and personnel found the tags for the merchandise on the floor.
The girls were stopped at the entrance of the store with the stolen items, which were valued at $60.

The complaint states Biswell had been cited two months prior to the incident in another case of retail theft. She will make her initial appearance in court April 2.
