On Aug. 7, Ritz and Mcleod broke into the building located at 735 N. Water St., by removing a piece of plywood blocking an opening into the building. They then spray painted graffiti on the walls, broke a fire extinguisher and damaged other items on the property.
The construction foreman was shown surveillance photos from the break in and recognized Mcleod because he lives across the street from the vandalized property. When police arrived, Ritz was there and both men admitted to the break in.
