Sussex Man Faces Charges After Medical Incident
Suspect has anti-seizure pills he said he found outside, but denies taking them.
A 26-year-old Sussex man is facing charges after he allegedly had anti-seizure pills with him when he had an incident where he couldn’t close his jaw.
Josey E. Bullis was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of possession of an illegally obtained prescription. If convicted, he faces up to six months in prison and $500 in fines.

On Aug. 14, emergency personnel was called to Bullis’ home in the W24900 block of Stonegate Court after Bullis woke his mom up at night because he couldn’t move his jaw. He had been taking pain pills for back issues at the time.
Bullis had a bottle of Lamotrigine with him he said he found outside, but denied taking the pills. He said he had taken Valium and Loratab.

He will make his initial appearance in court Oct. 1.
