Sussex Man Charged After Passing Out, Puking in Pick 'n Save Parking Lot
Suspect told officers he was resting after drinking at Sussex Bowl.
A 24-year-old Sussex man is facing charges after police found him passed out in his car in the parking lot after drinking and puking.
Richard A. Ruth, was charged in Friday with one count of operating a motor vehicle after revocation of his license and one count of bail jumping. If convicted he faces up to one year and nine months in prison, and $12,500 in fines.

At 3:15 p.m. Sept. 9 police were called to Pick ‘n Save after Ruth passed out inside his car with a pile of puke laying outside the car and on the door jam. Police woke him up, he got out of the car and attempted to stand next to the officer.
Ruth told officers he was drinking earlier in the night at and he drove to the store to rest. A field sobriety test revealed Ruth was sober at the time of the incident.

Ruth is currently free on a $2,000 signature bond while awaiting trial.
