Sussex Teen Caught With Marijuana in Falls
Suspect, 19, faces felony drug charges after someone complains of a suspicious car parked outside their home.
A Sussex teenager is facing felony drug charges after he parked outside a Menomonee Falls residence too long in September.
Taylor C. Knapp, 19, was charged in Wednesday with one count of second offense possession of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. If convicted, he faces up to three years and seven months in prison.

On Sept. 26, Menomonee Falls police were called to a residence in the N8100 block of University Drive after a resident there reported a car was parked outside the house for a long period of time. The resident also noticed the person inside continued to turn the dome light on and off.
Officers discovered marijuana hidden inside binoculars in the car.
As an officer arrived, the driver immediately turn on the car’s headlights and began to drive away, but was pulled over by the officer.

Knapp was driving the car, and police search it with a K9 unit. Officers discovered marijuana hidden inside binoculars in the car.
He will make his initial appearance in court June 11.
