Police Nab Suspected Sussex Methadone Dealer
Suspect says he helped out a police informant who he described as 'dope sick.'
A 27-year-old Sussex man is facing charges after he allegedly sold Methadone pills to a police informant on three separate occasions last year.
Christopher L. Spoonholz was charged in Wednesday with three counts of delivery of a scheduled I or II narcotic and three counts of maintaining a drug trafficking place. If convicted, he faces up to 60 years in prison and $180,000 in fines.

On Oct. 31, an police informant working with the Waukesha County Metro Drug Unit set up a deal with Spoonholz who agreed to sell 10 Methadone pills for $50. They met in the 200 block of Millington Lane in Hartland and the deal took place.
The informant set up two more deals at the same location on Nov. 3 and Nov. 16 where the same transactions took place.

Investigators interviewed Spoonholz on Feb. 8 and he said he has a prescription for Methadone. He didn’t openly admit to selling the drug, but said the informant had called him and was “dope sick,” so he helped him out.
According to the Wisconsin Circuit Court Access system, Spoonholz has no previous criminal record in Wisconsin.
He will make his initial appearance in court Aug. 13.
