Still No Suspect in Summer Home Invasions

Sheriff's officials continue searching for a suspect in two incidents where a person entered unlocked homes on the southwest side of Sussex this summer.

Waukesha County sheriff’s officials are still looking for a suspect in two that took place in early July.

On June 30 and July 4, a person entered homes in the southwest side of Sussex and approached women residing there. On the first occasion, the person tried to force their way into the resident’s bedroom and the second occasion involved a woman waking up to the person tugging at her shirt while she was sleeping in bed.

Both homes were unlocked at the times of the incidents.

The suspect was described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and wearing shorts. Anyone with information about the incidents should contact the sheriff’s department at 262-548-7126.
