Sussex man was traveling 91 mph in a 30 mph speed zone in Delafield when he was pulled over, according to a criminal complaint.

A 22-year-old Sussex man on probation for a heroin-related conviction is in more trouble after he was found with a handgun in his vehicle when he was traveling more than 60 mph above the posted limit, according to a criminal complaint.

Kevin P. O’Brien was charged Wednesday with being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia. If convicted, he faces up to five years and one month in prison and $25,500 in fines.

O’Brien was pulled over for traveling 91 mph in a 30 mph speed zone at Nagawicka and Price roads in Delafield, according to the complaint. When he was pulled over, O’Brien apologized for the way he was operating his vehicle. He told law enforcement that he didn’t think he was going that fast, but he was just driving around killing time.
