Thirteen Going on Thief

Sussex police were called to on Main Street Friday after store employees noticed four young girls stealing merchandise. It turns out the girls stole a slew of items like jewelry and underwear, so police issued them citations for retail theft. Two of the girls are 13-years-old from Sussex, one is 14-years-old from Butler and the last is 14-years-old from Sussex. 

One Sneaky Printer

Saturday, April 21 at 2:38 p.m.
The 51-year-old Menomonee Falls man who owns on the N61W23000 block of Silver Spring Drive called police after he noticed something odd at his store. Apparently, sometime in the last three weeks, someone broke into the printing store and stole $3,500 worth of printer equipment. Police are still investigating the burglary.

Monday, April 23 at 8:34 a.m.
Police were called to the corner of on Monday when a 44-year-old Sussex man accidentally struck a biker with his car. The biker, who wasn’t accounted for in the police report, suffered from some abrasions on his knees, but was mostly unharmed. The driver was cited for failing to yield for a bicycle.

Not Your Usual Domestic Disturbance

Wednesday, April 25 at 2:15 p.m.
A 39-year-old Sussex woman was charged with domestic disorderly conduct Wednesday afternoon after getting in a serious fight with her mother. According to the police report, the woman was at her 67-year-old mother’s house in Sussex on the W243N6500 block of Westhaven Drive when they got into an argument. The mother called police after the daughter began throwing things around the house while screaming.
