You Ran Over My Child? Don’t Worry About It

Tuesday, June 5 at 10:22 a.m.
Police were called to the corner of Main Street and Maple Avenue Tuesday after man hit a child with his car, but the child’s mother didn’t worry about it until later. The 33-year-old mother called police four days after her 10-year-old child was struck by a driver. The mother talked with the man, but her child seemed fine, so the woman didn’t think to get the man’s information.

It wasn’t until she eventually took her child to the doctor and realized there were medical costs racking up that the mother called police. They’re now looking for the mysterious driver based on a vague description of a car.

Indecent Exposure Via Text

Wednesday, June 6 at 6:58 p.m.
A family living on the N70W23900 block of Prides Road called police on Wednesday after their 13-year-old daughter came to them with a problem. According to the report, the girl received multiple inappropriate photos on her cell phone via text from outside of Wisconsin. Police are still investigating who might have sent the text messages.

Stealing Pills  – But Not the Kind You’re Thinking

Thursday, June 7 at 7:41 a.m.
Owners of chiropractic on the South Corporate Circle called police Thursday due to an overnight burglary. The door to the center was forced open sometime between 3 p.m. on Wednesday and 7:30 a.m. on Thursday and some medication was stolen. However, it’s not the kind police expected. According to the report, the thief stole pills anyone can buy over-the-counter. Officers are still looking for the burglar.

Speed Away, Drive Over a Foot

Friday, June 8 at 2:09 p.m.
Police were called to the scene near Stock Lumber on Hwy 74 on Friday after a 39-year-old Greenfield man got in a fight, jumped in his car, and drove over the foot of a 56-year-old Sussex man. The two are county highway workers and got in a heated argument on the clock. The 56-year-old man reported the incident to police with an imprint of a tire on his boot. The Greenfield man was issued multiple citations for reckless driving.

Stealing Cash from Your Old Boss

Sunday, June 10 at 8:58 p.m.
A 52-year-old man from Burlington called police when he noticed something was missing. The man works at in the Corporate Circle and found out someone stole $100 cash from the business. The prime suspect is currently a 51-year-old Franklin man who once worked at Heim.

Cat Fight

Monday, June 11 at 9:07 a.m.
Police were called to the Pewaukee Road Apartments on Monday after two roommates got in a brawl. According to the report, a 32-year-old female threatened to leave her 45-year-old roommate high-and-dry, not pay her rent and move away. Apparently, the younger roommate has made threats about leaving multiple times, and the 45-year-old got fed up. They were both issued citations for disorderly conduct when the argument got physical.

A Stolen Bear

Thursday, June 14 at 5:17 p.m.
A 27-year-old homeowner living on the W240N6500 block of Ash Street called the cops after his 3-foot wooden bear statue was stolen from his front porch. According to the report, the bear cost roughly $250. It should be noted that this man also called police recently to report a home burglary where $14,000 of property was allegedly stolen. Police are still investigating both incidents.
