Drugs

Sunday, Dec. 27 at 11:03 a.m.
Police were called to on Sussex Road near Silver Spring Drive after cocaine was found in a storage locker. Police identified that it didn’t belong to anyone and are not following up on the situation.

EMS

Monday, Dec. 28 at 10:30 a.m.
Emergency medical teams responded to Universal Metrics, a Sussex business specializing in steel and hardware fabrications, after a 25-year-old Sussex man was struck in the head by a steel pipe. The business sits next to Nature’s Path Foods on Sussex Road. Police determined the injury as an industrial accident.

Hit & Run

Tuesday, Dec. 29 at 5:50 a.m.
Police were called to a hit and run at the corner of Highway 74 and Silver Spring Drive after a 36-year-old Sussex man drove into a light pole causing property damage.

Found Property

Tuesday, Dec. 29 at 8:51 a.m.
A 46-year-old woman from Sussex called police to her home on the N58W23000 block of Hastings Court after she found a wallet and garage door opener on her property. Police are still looking for the owner of these two items.
