Man Caught Allegedly Smoking Marijuana in Sussex Parking Lot
Suspect and another person are in a car in an apartment complex parking lot when someone calls the cops on them for smoking drugs.
A 20-year-old Sussex man faces charges after he was allegedly caught smoking marijuana inside a parked car Monday.
Mark A. Perry Jr. was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of possession of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. If convicted, he faces up to six months in jail and $1,000 in fines.

At 1:48 a.m. Monday, Waukesha County sheriff deputies were called to the parking lot of an apartment complex in the N6400 block of Pewaukee Road on the report of someone smoking marijuana.
When they arrived, they found Perry and another man sitting in the car. When the deputy contacted him, Perry opened the door and the deputy found a strong smell of marijuana coming from inside.

The deputy called for a K-9 unit, which found a marijuana bud on the back seat of the car.
He’s currently being held in Waukesha County Jail on a $500 signature bond.
