A Brookfield police officer spotted Khan driving westbound on Lisbon Road west of Pilgrim Road at 11:31 p.m. Nov. 10 without a front license plate. As the officer followed Khan, he noted that Khan’s vehicle did not stop at a stop sign.

The vehicle pulled into a driveway at a Brookfield home, but the officer knew the vehicle did not belong at the address. As the driver exited the vehicle, the officer illuminated his squad lights and told Khan to sit down. Instead, Khan laid face down with his arms at his side.
