Copper Cable Lifted From Quarry
About 600 feet of welding cable taken during the night of Oct. 18.
Welding cable was stolen from the Vulcan Quarry on Lisbon Road during the night of Oct. 18.
According to authorities, about 600 feet of 5/8 inch copper cable was taken from two service trucks. The theft was reported at 9:15 a.m. Oct. 19.
The sheriff's department said it did not have a value on the copper cable.

The Vulcan Quarry is located at N52 W23096 Lisbon Road. The quarry is owned by Vulcan Materials Company, which produces crushed stone, sand and gravel for the construction industry.
