Competency Evaluation Ordered for Sussex Man Accused of Assaulting Young Boys

Defense attorney raises concerned about the ability of William Radix to stand trial on allegations he touched a young boy in Milwaukee and then exposed himself to another.

A Sussex man accused of sexually assaulting two Milwaukee boys has been ordered to undergo an evaluation to determine if he’s competent to stand trial.

William M. Radix was ordered in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Tuesday to undergo the evaluation after his attorney raised concerns about his competency.

Radix, 44, is facing more than 90 years in prison for in a north side home and exposing his genitals to another boy.

Radix told police one of the boys came onto him and he isn’t into children.

A report on his mental condition will be returned to the court Oct. 24 at which time a judge could determine if the case should proceed.
