Stephanie M. Landry, 24, gave her driver's license to an undercover detective before taking off with the $200 he gave her for drugs, according to a criminal complaint.
It hasn’t been a good year for 24-year-old Stephanie M. Landry.
The Sussex woman’s been charged in a theft, a drug possession after being spotted at a gas station by an off-duty police officer and with possessing a baggie of heroin under her arm while being booked at the Waukesha County Jail.
Now Landry is facing more charges after she was accused of taking $200 to sell drugs to a City of Waukesha detective, leaving behind her driver’s license as collateral, according to a criminal complaint filed Tuesday.

Landry was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court with conspiracy to deliver oxycodone and theft. If convicted, she faces up to 10-3/4 years in prison and $60,000 in prison. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 8. She remains free on a signature bond.
A Waukesha detective and confidential informant arranged to purchase Percocet for $200 on Silvernail Road, according to the complaint. Landry got into the detective’s car and the $200 was given to her for the drugs. Landry said she would return with the drugs, so the detective asked for her driver’s license as collateral.
