Obituary: Robert Metzger

May 27, 1936 - June 5, 2012

Robert L. Metzger (Plumber) of Lannon, passed peacefully in his home with his family surrounding him on June 5, 2012, at the age of 76.

Today we rejoice in the knowledge that he is forever at home with his Savior. He is the beloved husband of Margie (nee Clarey) where together for more than 53 years they shared the changing seasons of life.

Surviving along with his wife Margie are his children Jeff (Patti), Mike (Colleen), Doug (LeeAnn), Shelley (Steve) Mehmert, Terry (Mike) Steiner, Julie (Rich) Eales. Wonderful Papa to Doug, Melissa (James) Esser, Sam (Matt) Kinkade, Myles, Greg, Ryan, Chelsea, Tyler, Micayla, Ciara, Trent, Cassi, Hannah Steiner, Halle Steiner, Steven and Great-Grandchildren Jordan and Wyatt Esser. Dear brother of Evelyn Mamerow, Melvin (Nancy) Metzger, Shirley (Ralph) Ress. Preceded in Death by his brothers Harvey Metzger, Bill Metzger and sister Alice Zingsheim. Further survived by loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service Friday, June 8, 7 p.m. at . Visitation will be at 4 p.m. to time of service. Private burial Sunnyside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorials To: Lannon Fire Dept. is appreciated.
