Obituary: Gordon F. Schweiger

February 25, 1925 - May 14, 2012

Gordon "Gordy" F. Schweiger was born to eternal life on Monday, May 14 at 87-years-old.

Loving and devoted husband of Helen (nee Thompson) for 63 years. Awesome dad of David (Sheree), Donna (Roger) Reak and Tim (Pam). Cherished grandfather of Karen, Dennis, Adam, Mathew, Melissa, Marcus and Justin. Great-grandfather of Austin, Nora, Landon, Katie, Gavin, Anna and Wilson. Further survived by two brothers, other relatives and friends. 

Gordy worked at Square D Company for 34 years and also served on Sussex's Community Development Authority for 10 years. The family would like to give a special thank you to Kirkland Crossings and Seasons Hospice for their kind and compassionate care of Gordy. 

Visitation on Monday, May 21 from 3:30 p.m. until time of memorial mass at 6 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church; W220 N6588 Townline Road, Menomonee Falls. Private burial will take place at Sunnyside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are greatly appreciated to St. James Church, Kirkland Crossings or the National Parkinson Foundation.
