Obituary: Gerald 'Jerry' Maske

Jerry called Sussex home for more than 30 years, and founded Jem Photo Enterprises.

Gerald "Jerry" Maske, 70, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Sept. 10, 2013.

Originally born in West Allis, Wisconsin, Jerry called Sussex home for more than 30 years. Jerry was a retired Wauwatosa police officer, and also served in the United States Army Reserve as a Military Police Officer. An entrepreneur at heart, and with a love for photography Jerry founded Jem Photo Enterprises. Jerry was one of the founders of the Sussex Lisbon Business and Professional Association (SLBPA).

After retirement, Jerry volunteered at the Henderson Police Department and the Henderson Animal Shelter. Jerry is survived by his wife of 44 years Marlene; his sons Eric "Rick" (Michelle)Maske and Michael Maske; Granddaughter Zoey; His brother Tom (Mary) Maske; Nephews and Nieces Dan, Andy, Joel, Billy, Eddie & Jayna "JC" Maske; and many other family and friends.
