Richard's Place "Welcome Home" Fundraiser Planned

Richard’s Place, Inc. has scheduled the Annual “Welcome Home” Dinner and Silent Auction for Friday, October 19, 2012 at the Country Springs Hotel, 2810 Golf Road in Pewaukee.  This event will help continue the support of Richard’s Place, Inc.’s Permanent Housing, Transitional Housing and Case Management Services for individuals who are living with HIV/AIDS.

Richard’s Place opened their first house for transitional housing in 1998 and added an additional house in 2005 for individuals who were in need of permanent housing.  Our mission:  “Richard’s Place facilitates independence, dignity and wellbeing through a compliment of safe, affordable, appropriate housing, education, and day-to-day support services to people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.”  Since that time we have served over 200 individuals in both programs.  In addition to the housing programs, we provide case management services to approximately 40 individuals who live in Waukesha County who have been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS.
