Great, lets complain about where to hold a charity event rather than thank the Rotary Club for all their hard work in getting scholarships for deserving students in a tight economy. I just find it hard to criticize folks who do so many good deeds such as the Rotarians. Jann and Chris, honestly now, would you have gone to the function if it was held at the Radisson or are you boycotting the scholarship fundraiser for students because it's not being held where you think it should be held? I'll take a WAG and bet you wouldn't go if it was held across the street from your house.

I learned a long time ago that name calling or arguing with people won't make them any smarter. I am confused because I didn't think I said I don't support local busineses (trust me, RBG has a great fish fry), I'm not sure where I was patting myself on the back, I really don't care what anyone thinks I am, I've lived here 56 years and maybe visited a local business every now and then (sic), I'm old but Capone was way before my time, I do plan on calling as many sports as they ask me to and I would DEFINITELY would go "across the street to GT" if it helps MFHS students get scholarships. I guess I missed the answer to "would you have gone to the fundraiser if it was held at the Radisson or are you boycotting the scholarship fundraiser for students because it's not being held where you think it should be held?" jerry: I don't think you read my post. I actually said I don't blame them for not holding it at the Radisson. My comment about us not needing the hotel has nothing to do with the Rotary. We didn't need the hotel.

Sorry Jann, you were right, I get it now. I missed the boat on that one: apoligies.
