Sussex Week Ahead: Christmas Tree Collection and Fitness Frenzy

This is a list of things to do and places to be this week in Sussex.

Christmas Tree Pickup

The holidays have come and gone, and that means it's time for your Christmas tree to hit the road. Starting Tuesday, Sussex residents can throw their Christmas tree at the curb and it'll be towed away by the village. The collection will happen every day until Jan. 20, so if you're not quite ready to throw away the Christmas spirit, you still have some time.

Fitness Frenzy Week

Try new classes for free this week! There's an extremely wide array of classes for residents of every age, so try before you buy. No pre-registration is necessary, and class schedules can be found at the , , , or online at www.village.sussex.wi.us.

Public Works and Finance Meetings

The village will be holding its public works and finance and personnel meetings on Tuesday starting at 6 p.m. During the public works meeting, the committee will be discussing various items including an update on the and new . During the finance and personnel meeting the committee will be discussing items such as the liquor license for and the upcoming elections. These meetings are open to the public and the full agendas can be found online.
