Get in the holiday spirit this Saturday at 5 p.m. when the village holds its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. The family-friendly event will be held at the front lawn where huge choir, accompanied by Steve Haasch, is set to perform and countdown the lighting. A visit from Santa and Sussex Patch is also on the agenda while residents sip hot chocolate, eat cookies and munch on candy canes. It also wouldn't be a Sussex event if wasn't involved. If possible, please bring a non-perishable food item for the pantry.
