Sussex Week Ahead: Art Show and Office Hours

This is a list of things to do and places to be this week in Sussex.

Village Board Meeting

Members of the Village Board will be meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. at  to discuss various topics concerning Sussex. Topics on the agenda include upcoming events in the village and the possibility of shutting down Main Street for the Lions Daze parade. Sussex residents are encouraged to attend to get a first-hand experience of how decisions are made in the village and voice their opinions. 

Sussex Patch's Office Hours

Every Wednesday, you can find me, , at  on Main Street from 1-3 p.m. for  While it's not exactly my office, we can sip coffee and chat about anything you'd like: ideas for stories, Sussex Patch improvements, etc. So swing by and say "Hey!" I'll be the guy with the big Patch laptop. 

In celebration of Youth Art Month, the artwork of students from throughout the  will be on display during March at the . A reception honoring the artists and their teachers will be open to the public from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday. During the reception, a Hamilton High Jazz Band combo will perform, and art activities will be offered in the Youth Services area. The Friends of the Pauline Haass Public Library will provide refreshments.
