Carol Braeger said her daughter has loved horses since she was young, according to the Sun. The first thing she ever drew was a horse. Now all grown up, Patty Braeger Roelofs has owned many horses and has earned the honor to ride in the 2013 Inauguration Parade.

The group Freedom Stables is part of AT EASE, a group dedicated to working with veterans and active military personnel to help them gain self-confidence while working with horses.
